1990a – John Webbert Begins His Financial Planning Career
John Webbert began his financial planning career and went to work for a local branch of an investment/insurance company. He quickly became disenfranchised watching "advisors" push expensive company insurance products on their clients, rather than provide unbiased advice.
1993 – Firm Moves to Current Location
Joined Mike Barry and moved to our current office in Towson.
2010 – Mike Barry Retires from the Firm
Mike Barry retired, and we were honored to continue serving his clients.
2024 – Founder John Webbert Retires
John retired after years of dedicated service, with Tom stepping in to carry the legacy forward.
1990b – John Opens His Own Independent Office
After a few months, John left that company and opened his own office, where he felt he could provide the best advice to his clients.
2006 – Tom Webbert Joins His Father in the Business
Tom Webbert joined his father’s practice in 2006, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people's lives.
2016 – Officially Renamed Webbert Financial Planning
Officially became Webbert Financial Planning.
2025 – Transition to Blue Curve Advisory and RIA
Our firm transitioned to Blue Curve Advisory and officially became a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
